About the Role:
Our client is seeking a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in leadership hiring to join their team as the Head of Executive Talent Acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with the leadership community, building and maintaining a high-quality talent pool of executive candidates, and proactively creating a talent pipeline to support current and future leadership hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership Talent Strategy: Develop and implement a robust executive search strategy aimed at identifying, engaging, and attracting top-tier leadership talent across industries.
• Talent Pool Development: Build and continuously update a talent pool of at least 100 high-caliber executive candidates. Maintain ongoing relationships and engagement with these candidates to ensure they are primed for future opportunities.
• Proactive Talent Pipeline: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential executive candidates through various channels, including networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand current and future leadership needs, aligning the executive search strategy with organizational goals.
• Executive Engagement: Continuously engage with the leadership community, providing market intelligence, candidate insights, and supporting the company’s employer branding as an executive employer of choice.
• End-to-End Executive Hiring: Lead full-cycle executive hiring processes, from search strategy and candidate identification to selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
• Market Mapping & Insights: Leverage research and data to provide insights into market trends, competitor executive movements, and leadership talent availability, positioning the company competitively in the leadership hiring space.
• Employer Branding: Strengthen the company’s positioning in the executive talent market by developing and executing employer branding initiatives targeted at leadership talent.
• Candidate Scoping and Evaluation: Define the scope of the leadership roles in alignment with business needs, identifying the critical competencies, leadership style, and cultural fit required for success.
Qualifications:
– 15+ years of experience in executive search or leadership hiring, with a proven track record of successfully placing senior leadership roles.
– Strong understanding of market trends, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence within the leadership space.
– Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
– Extensive experience in building long-term relationships with executive candidates and talent pools.
– Strong network within the leadership community and the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
– Ability to drive employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives within the executive market.
– Experience leading or mentoring a talent acquisition team is a plus.
